Working closely with lead artist, Gordon Young, we have devised and implemented a comprehensive program of public engagement with a diverse range of individuals and groups across the the community in Milton Keynes.
The MK Rose is an ambitious new public artwork and a place where many different types of people can come together in a shared space on significant dates of the year. It has been our job to ask local people what these dates should be and to feed back creatively to the lead artist. The space includes a series of granite columns with text carved into them, which the community can use all year round to celebrate and remember ideas and events that are important to them.
